Extreme makeover – blog edition

From my lack of posting, I know it seems like I haven’t had much to do with the blog lately…

but au contraire, my friends. I have been diligently working behind the scenes to overhaul the look of the blog.

There are still a couple of annoying little loose ends to tie (like all that inexplicable white space at the bottom of the Recipes page). But never fear, it will all get sorted out – though probably not by me. Probably by my husband who figured out the first bajillion things that went wrong 🙂

Sidenote: I have a new appreciation for people who can write and understand code like it’s their native language. I cannot. When I try to understand PHP or CSS or HTML, I am immediately transported back to the biodata class I took, where I spent the entire semester pretending to learn Python. I was surrounded by people furiously typing and executing code that could sort through a genome, solve world hunger and stop for a drink with friends, all in the span of oh, a millisecond.  Meanwhile, my code just laughed at me and my futile commands.
