Odds and Ends

We had an awesome hiking adventure this weekend but first, I need to wrap up telling you about last weekend! We did our best to fill the rest of Michel’s visit with us with plenty of fun stuff, including:

- A visit to the coolest theater around, Pix Theater, to see Age of Adeline - which was a thoroughly excellent film.

- A Coastal expedition, hitting up the dunes at Cleawox Lake, lunch in Old Town Florence, Heceta Head and Cape Perpetua

- and yummy dinners on the patio

 

We were also greatly entertained by the police parked in our driveway throughout the week, catching people who think a construction zone speed limit is voluntary as well as the surprisingly high number of folks who will drive around a road barrier that states ‘Road Closed - No public access.’ Oh yes, we definitely know how to show our guests an exciting time here, lol!
